The 2019 Mazda Roadster (ND Series Facelift) is pure driving joy. It isn't practical, it isn't an SUV, and it won't carry your luggage. But for a Sunday drive to Limuru, nothing puts a bigger smile on your face.
2. Engine, Performance & Economy
The 1.5L SkyActiv-G (130 HP) loves to rev. It’s light, so it feels fast. The manual gearbox is legendary, but the automatic is also responsive. It returns 15-17 km/l because it weighs almost nothing.
3. Design & Practicality
It is a dedicated 2-seater convertible. The soft top can be opened with one hand in seconds. The boot fits two small weekend bags. It is low, so watch out for speed bumps.
4. Comfort & Technology
The cabin is snug but ergonomic. The seats hold you tight. It has heated seats and Bose speakers in the headrests so you can hear music even with the roof down. The steering wheel now adjusts for reach (telescopic) in the 2019 model.
